If you don’t respond to this sixth and best album from Roxy Music, one of rock’s most exciting purveyors, you should check to make sure you still have a pulse. Spotlighting the inimitable vocals of Bryan Ferry and superb sax and violin work of Andy Mackay and Eddie Jobson, the nonstop concert set focuses on such early material as “Chance Meeting” and the manic “Do the Strand.” Also featured are “Pyjamarama,” a 1973 single that was previously unavailable in the U.S., and the more recent “Out of the Blue” and “Both Ends Burning.” Roxy sounds like none of its contemporaries and viva la difference!
